Physical Therapy Assistant
Alabama Medical Group, P.C. is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Mobile, AL. This position is responsible for assisting in the care of patients through physical therapy procedures and techniques while working under the direction of a physical therapist.
Essential Functions:
- Assists PTs in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or from diseases.
- Helps PT’s fulfill patient treatment plan and assistant with procedures. Assists with patient care by providing personal care that promotes patient comfort, safety, and quality of life.
- Adheres to Alabama Medical Group, P.C. standards of infection control and employee safety.
- performs clerical tasks as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful completion of physical therapist assistant program from an accredited school. Minimum of one year experience preferred. Licensure by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.
Hours are Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

X-ray Technologist

Job duties include preparing patients for radiologic procedures, positioning patients for X-rays, checking X-rays for clarity of images, maintaining required records, performing quality control checks on X-ray unit, cleaning and maintaining X-ray equipment, and maintaining all supplies and orders. Associates degree or above in radiological technology preferred. 1-3 years of experience as a X-ray technician preferred.

Physical Therapy Technician
Alabama Medical Group is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct and non-direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Support physical therapists in administering treatment programs.
- Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapeutic exercise and documenting patient responses to treatment.
- Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads.
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
- Monitor and report patient progress to the therapist.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area including cleaning equipment.
- Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.
- Provide excellent patient service and care.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience or interest in acute care or clinic and/or hospital settings.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of physical therapy.
High School Diploma required. At least 1+ years of experience preferred.
